Winnowing Without Wind

When its rice harvest time then the whole family needs to be involved. With many bags filled most to be sold for hard earned cash this family demonstrate the work involved in this final procedure.

The dried stalks are slowly dropped in front of the wind maker the chaff is blown away and the quality brown rice falls to the ground for bagging.

The Bible makes it clear that much of what we do is chaff. Service to others however in the name of Jesus is of real value.

Your story of rice production is now complete. Thank you for reminding us that we too must allow the Wind of the Spirit blow away the chaff from our lives to allow the seed of God's Word to bear fruit.
