The UMN Christmas Celebration is always an occasion for staff, their families and friends to join for carol singing, friendship, gift giving and food. Here over 200 people gathered in the Christmas Eve winter sunshine.

There is plenty of rungichangi around.(Nepali for colourful flags) There was even some jhilimili. (multi coloured lights)

Some young people from a local church provided a really good mime and the event finished with hot food.

The pictures of the UMN Christmas celebration give some idea of what it was like for you this Christmas - I am sure it was quite cold sitting outside - no centrally heated church buildings for you.

I am sure things were different for you this Christmas now you have a better knowledge of the language than a year ago.
